The idea behind the product was to work with the contrast between the surfaces of the product, treating the areas in contact with the person sitting down in a completely different way.

The inspiration came from observing nature. Plants and animals have an external skeleton that counteracts external elements to protect the most important parts inside. Inspired by this principle, I developed the seat to keep the contrast visible.
